Maybelle is no stranger to the spotlight having enjoyed notoriety as a member of the girl group, ‘Ma-V-Elle’, performing alongside big names such as Tina Turner and Jimmy Barnes in her late teens. She co-wrote two albums during her five-year stint with the all girl trio and is now looking to produce a successful solo album of her own.
While supporting her husband’s NRL career and raising a family, Maybelle has maintained her craft by teaching singing lessons from home, performing at corporate functions and on televised sporting events. Maybelle is now looking to kick-start her solo music career on The Voice.

Maybelle, age 35, auditioned for The Voice with a performance of "Gravity" by Sara Bareille. She managed to only spin around on chair, that chair being Kylie.
In the Battle Rounds, Maybelle was paired up against Johnny Rollins with a performance of "Rolling in the Deep" by Adele. She lost to Johnny.
