Lij Gilmore is a singer from Brisbane, Queensland and current contestant on Season 3 of The Voice.
Brisbane boy Lij Gilmour has used the power of social networking to build himself a solid and evergrowing fanbase for his recorded covers. A John Butler performance at Woodford Folk Festival five years ago, motivated him to learn the guitar and pursue a career in music.
Growing up on a 150-acre property surrounded by rainforest, he spent the first ten years of his life without television. Inspired by his natural surroundings, Lij established a strong foundation for his songwriting ability today. Considering his first word as an infant was 'star', it's no surprise to see Lij shooting for the stars.
Lij, 17, auditioned for The Voice with a performance of "Teenage Dirtbag" by Wheatus, impressing two out of four judges. He eventually decided to go with Joel.
